Spring Break 2024
For the first time I can remember, the 5 of us were not together for Spring Break. Lauren went to the ever popular 30A with 4 of her friends (and one brave mom!). It was the mass exodus of Louisville to Florida for Spring Break, which happens every year around this time. As Lauren said, there were more people in her snap map in FL than KY! The other 4 of us stayed in KY for the majority of the time. Drew played some soccer, Ali did some gymnastics, I played some tennis and Brad went to work. The most excitement happened on Tuesday night when we were holed up in the basement as a tornado went pretty much right over our neighborhood and touched down about a mile from here. Ali was actually at gymnastics at the time, taking cover in the interior bathrooms! We were in the basement, watching the channel where one of the dad of one of Drew's friends is a weatherman. Drew was texting with his friend and told him that he heard glass breaking...
